Lately my son has been asking "Mommy are you mad at me?  or Daddy are you mad at me?"  It always amazes me how this beautiful young mind can come up with such questions.  We will be playing and out of the clear blue he'll ask us.  And when we tell him no, he smiles and says "O.K."

The first time he asked, it startled me.  It was such an odd question.  He comes home from daycare and has such incredible sayings or questions or facial expressions or dance moves, that everyday is more surprising than the last.  He was dancing the other night, on Thanksgiving, and I swear he did the John Travolta move from Staying Alive.  I never laughed so hard, yet was so proud of my kids dancing ability.

He'll be three soon and will be attending a new school.  Can't wait to see what he'll pick up there!!

Why Skater Dude?

My life took a large turn almost three years ago when my beautiful son, Ethan, was born.  A friend named him the "Skater Dude" because of his long blond hair and well, it stuck.  He has been my husband's and I's joy.  The funny things he says, like "Don't look at me" when he gets mad or how he sings songs from church, Vineyard Westside, out of the blue.  It's really amazing how your world can change with a child.

My husband started this blog for me since I really don't have no clue what I'm doing.  Hopefully I won't bore anyone and as Ethan would say, "It sounds like FUN."
